  • Art’s  Furniture: 1yr selling appliances, lots of repair business
  • PCN: Mark back and surgery successful
  • IB: Had open house last Fri, gave $100 Dino Dollars
  • Dr Veseth: People avoid the dentist this time of year
  • Kiwanis: Took 16 low income kids shopping, will be selling tacos at basketball game Jan 19th
  • KMMR: Wrapping up Holiday Greetings
  • Todd’s: Open late all this week till 8. Been a busy holiday season
  • FSB: Open house last week, gave Dino Dollars and candy, Scrip totals are up this year
  • 1st Security: Business in focus: John Roberts
  • Art Spot/Donny’s Framing: Art’s Fair 12/3-good, framing shop taking off
  • Phillco: $2500 grant ot Liquor Heaven, more money available for store front beautification program, still working on “Branding Project”
  • Boys and Girls Club: Season coming to an end, average 50+ kids, Promote Healthy Kids
  • Westside: Start Dino Dollar Drawings tomorrow
  • MOI: Raffle Drawing, Grant complete and came through, Thursday Jan 21st Public hearing
  • Triangle: Connected main city of Havre with internet, Community Connect to find any forms needed, contact Anne if any help is needed
  • Swim Team: Head Coach position is open and will start advertising in Jan to fill position
  • Travis: Cell Phone repair business and Montarctica Productions

    • Holiday promotions all went well
    • Weather has a big impact
    • Men’s Basket Winner: Pete Weise, Eye Spy: Sara Padget
  • Sports
    • Divisional Volleyball Tournament feedback was very positive, wonderful hospitality room
  • Art Trail App:
  • o Contact with communities around area to move it along


    • Dues:  $18,750.00
  • Renewals: Dr. Micheal Veseth, Stockman Bar, A Fine Line Auto Body, and MOI
  • New Members: Missouri River Realty
    • Scrip:  $1410.00
  • Tourism and Marketing
    • 1,332 Facebook Likes  629 Instagram Followers
      • Guest Instagrammers:  Start again in Jan 2018
    • Phillips County Branding: 6 designs to review, resubmitted feedback and waiting for new designs for approval
  • Member Education and Investment
    • Non-profit Board training –Nov 29th good training and turnout
  • Technology
    • 2018 new classes offered

  • o Putt Crawl reported 31 teams, $1575 profit, over all big success

  • Person of Influence
  • o Sonia Young and Frances Demarias, Sonia was present to receive her award, Frances will attend next meeting
  • 2018 Office Hours
  • o 10-2pm Wednesdays
  • Possible changes to Membership Meetings
  • o Discussed every other month and possible relocating. Tin Cup, Stretch’s, and GN were possibilities.
  • o General consensus, members want to keep every month.
  • o Other ideas to spark attendance: Speaker every other month, Posters, and combining Merchant’s and Membership
  • Recognition of Dina Sainato-Meneely
  • o Recognized all Dina’s hard work and efforts she put forth for Chamber during her time as Executive Director
