Committee Updates

  • Marketing and Tourism
    • PCLifestyle Campaign Update
      • Articles Set of June Launch
      • Confirming people in June Videos
    • Historic Walking Tour
      • Brochure and Website drafts due beginning of July
    • Flyers for 60’s Class Reunion and Insurance Convention out
    • Business After Hours
      • Patty’s – about 12 people but the succulent class went very well.
      • June 23 PCMS 8pm-9pm
      • July 14 Family Matters and Todd’s Tech 5pm-7pm


Old Business

  • Mother’s Day/Father’s Day Promotion Progress
    • Father’s Day – Dina will pick up remaining items from Merchants, and send out a flyer to put out with the tickets, two weeks prior to Father’s day (start June 6).
      • Basket will be on display in Chamber office window
    • Crazy Days
      • Outreach to all participants last year and who else may be interested completed
      • Ads go out starting week of July 11
      • FCCLA will serve food
      • Sno Cones confirmed
      • Lemonade stand confirmed
      • Promises will have a table
      • The Dino Museum may do duck races
    • Arts Council Meeting
      • Looking for partnerships for arts projects in area.
      • Meeting June 13 7-9pm
      • All community welcome
      • Business development and economic development specialists are coming
    • June 17 – Wine and Dino event at Dino Museum
    • July 11-15 – KIDS MAT at Art Spot
    • All Summer Kids Arts Camp $20 per day
    • Memorial Day BBQ went well, it was full. Parade went well



New Business

  • Online Ordering
    • Dina will look into this more, to add a page on the website to highlight what sales/specials are happening (hot deals).
    • Not look to have online ordering, because it is too complex and the interaction with customers is critical for businesses.
