PhillCo Economic Growth Council

PhillCo Economic Growth Council is a citizen-driven nonprofit organized in 1986 and based in Phillips County, Montana.  The mission is to assist in improving the economic stability of the Phillips County area and the standard of living of its residents, in addition, to provide leadership in the county relative to the retention and creation of jobs with expanded wealth of our residents and tax revenue for the communities.  PhillCo provides many services such as technical assistance to new and existing businesses, grant writing and management of the Phillips County Community Fund.

Bear Paw Economic Development Council

Bear Paw Development has served since 1969 as a federally recognized and funded Economic Development District by the US Economic Development Administration. Being involved in a variety of projects, Bear Paw Development assists communities and businesses in the following departments: community planning, business lending, value-added agriculture, community development and small business counseling. Over the past five years, Bear Paw has coordinated the investment of more than $53.4 million in public and private funds to enhance our economy, create jobs and make our communities more sustainable.

Montana Small Business Development Center

The Montana Office of Tourism and Business Development markets Montana’s spectacular unspoiled nature, vibrant and charming small towns, breathtaking experiences, relaxing hospitality, and competitive business climate to promote the state as a place to visit and do business. Its goal is to sustain and enhance the quality of life for all Montanans and their communities by strengthening the economy through job creation and business development.

Triangle Communications – Economic Development

Triangle dedicates various resources to build sustainable communities and help our local businesses succeed and grow.  These resources include programs such as Business Boost Grants, Interest Free Loans, Community Vitality Grants and others.

This Training Resource for Montana’s Business Community contains listings for business training opportunities throughout the state.

Montana Office of Native American Development

The Office of Native American Development provides all of the business resources available to Native American businesses and tribal governments in Montana under one office.
