Q: How long have you been in business?

Opened April 3rd, 1972 as First Security Bank of Malta.  In September of 2019, bank was acquired by Bank of Bridger, N.A. and Bank of Malta, a branch of Bridger, N.A. was formed.  Opened our first day of business as Bank of Malta on October 7th, 2019.

Q: What is your business and what do you specialize in?

We continue to offer all of the same great services we offered previously at competitive rates-agriculture, consumer, and commercial loans.  Cd’s, traditional roth IRA’s, savings and checking accounts.  We now offer a wide variety of mobile banking services for our on the go customers.  Additionally, we have a kid savings program called Save for America,  Two of the bank ladies fo to the Malta Elementary School on Fridays during the school year and collect deposits from children with our Little Saver or Youth Savings Accounts.  After m aking a savings deposit, the child also gets to pick a toy from our table as a reward for saving!  We also take Little Savers deposits at the bank for your convenience.

Q: What is something the community doesn’t know your business does that you would like them to know?

We now offer a wide variety of mortgage home loans and HELOC loans.  We are an approved SBA lender.  We also offer HSAs. Christmas Club accounts and have a wide variety of mobile banking services to offer our customers.  Stop in and see us today!
